We’re thrilled to share that Jordan Hollahan, a research assistant in the CARES Lab, has been awarded the 2024 Glenn Roy Blundon Award for his outstanding commitment to disability inclusion, equity, and accessibility at Memorial University’s St. John’s Campus.
Since 1992, the Blundon Award has recognized individuals or groups who have made a significant impact on the lives of people with disabilities through advocacy, support, and action. Jordan’s dedication to accessibility and his contributions to creating a more inclusive campus community make him a truly deserving recipient of this honour.
In his role at the CARES Lab, Jordan has been deeply involved in research and community-based projects focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). His work aims to make education more inclusive and responsive to the diverse needs of all learners, particularly disabled students. Through his thoughtful contributions and collaborative approach, Jordan is helping to shape a more accessible and equitable learning environment at Memorial and beyond.
We’re so proud of Jordan and grateful for the energy, insight, and heart he brings to this work. Congratulations, Jordan!
