In celebration of National Accessibility Week, The CARES Lab and the Blundon Centre at Memorial University are co-hosting an inclusive Open Mic Night on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (NDT). The event will take place in the Multipurpose Room (1302) of the Core Sciences Building (CSF) on campus.
This evening will showcase of creative expression, featuring performances in poetry, spoken word, music, storytelling, and more. Participants are encouraged to explore themes such as accessibility, disability, identity, exclusion, joy, resistance, and belonging.
The event is open to all Memorial University students, staff, and faculty. Whether you’re interested in performing or simply attending to enjoy the performances. Light refreshments and mocktails will be served, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all attendees.
