Today we say a heartfelt thank you to Karen Rodriguez, our incredible Mitacs intern, as she wraps up her term with the CARES Lab.
Over the past few months, Karen has been an integral part of our work on the Universal Design for Learning Community of Practice (UDL CoP) and our national study on accommodations in social work education. From organizing data and assisting with content analysis to providing thoughtful feedback and helping us prepare next steps, Karen’s contributions have been thoughtful, thorough, and deeply appreciated. She brought curiosity, care, and a collaborative spirit to everything she worked on.
Karen will return to Bogotá, Colombia to complete her degree in Modern Languages at Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia.
We’re so grateful to have had the chance to work with Karen and wish her all the best! We will miss you, Karen!
