The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Community of Practice (CoP) will hold its first session tomorrow, Friday, September 19, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. NDT. The event will be offered in a hybrid format, with opportunities to join either online or in person at the School of Social Work, Memorial University (Room J-2008, St. John’s College, 230 Prince Philip Drive).
This inaugural session will be facilitated by the Centre for Teaching Support & Innovation (CTSI) at the University of Toronto. Participants will engage in a workshop exploring the three pillars of the UDL Guidelines 3.0:
- Engagement (the why of learning)
- Representation (the what of learning)
- Action & Expression (the how of learning)
The session will highlight how these pillars can be practically applied to create inclusive, flexible, and accessible learning environments.
