The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Community of Practice (CoP) will hold its next session tomorrow Tuesday, November 18, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. NST. This event will be offered in a hybrid format, with opportunities to participate online or in person at Stella’s Circle (Employment Services), 114 Cabot Street, St. John’s.
This session, titled Cultivating Connection – UDL for Inclusive and Empowered Classrooms, will be facilitated by Ash Gosse (she/her) and Jessica Lee-Middleman (she/her) from Stella’s Circle’s Employment Services Team. Together, they will explore how Universal Design for Learning can support learning environments where all students, especially those from marginalized communities, feel seen, valued, and able to participate fully.
Participants will leave with UDL-informed approaches that center connection, well-being, and learner agency across a range of educational settings.
