The Universal Design for Learning Community of Practice (CoP) will hold its next session tomorrow, Friday, December 12, from 2:00–3:30 p.m. NST.
This month’s session, Implementing Features of Universal Design for Learning in Undergraduate Physics Laboratories, will explore how UDL principles can meaningfully transform hands-on learning environments in STEM. Drawing on recent work in first-year physics labs, the presentation will highlight shifts from traditional written-only instructions and report-based assessments toward more flexible, multimodal approaches.
This session offers a valuable opportunity to consider how UDL principles can be implemented not only in lecture-based settings but also in applied, experiential learning spaces like labs.
